Amardip Ghosh

Amardip and I were classmates in RKMV, Purulia. In Class IV, when we had just joined, I used to sit with him on the last bench. And he used to tell that he was from the US. He used to tell me about the schools there and the Grading Sytem there etc. etc... And I believed him totally! Afterwards whenever we used to remember that incident, we used to laugh a lot. One thing I remember most about him is his ears. He has ears with plumpy lobes, just like that of Gautam Buddha. And I had this nasty habit of holding other's ear-lobes! Meghdoot Ghosh

His name is Meghdoot Ghosh and his nick name is Chandi. We were classmates in school [RKMV, Purulia]. I remember that in school he used to be very interested in Electronics. He used to make working models of motors, radios etc. I did learn a bit of soldering wires etc. from him. Meghdoot is from Malda, West Bengal. It is a place which is very famous for mangoes. He used to bring mangoes from home. They were really big [as big as coconuts!] and though they were green on the outside, inside they were ripe and really tasty. Meghdoot's father is Radha Govinda Ghosh. He is an M.A., B.T. and Ph.D. and also a National Awardee Teacher. He teaches in R.K. Mission Vidyamandir, Malda (West Bengal). I remember his father a lot. He is a gentleman with a mild and soothing nature besides being an erudite scholar. I am sure that his students must feel really lucky to have him as their teacher and guide. Nandy His name is Anirban Nandy and I call him Nandy. His nickname is Master coz he is very good in teaching others !!! (In fact, he teached me how to connect hard disks and many other useful stuff !!!). He is a very special friend . We were classmates in RKMV, Purulia. Ranjeeta, Maibam

Her name is Ranjeeta Maibam. We were classmates in Manipur Public School. There are so many things to say about Ranjeeta that this space will hardly suffice. I think she is the only person who knows so much about me. What can I say about her? She is such a wonderful person. She is extremely talented and she has a lovely handwriting. She is the eldest in her family. Before, they used to stay in Lamphel Sanakeithel but now they have shifted to Naoremthong. She is presently pursuing her studies in Delhi. She is trying for MCA. We have been to Nepal with many of all our school friends in 1995. We really had a wonderful time there. The place was so beautiful. Robert His name is Leisangthem Robert Singh. We are in the same branch and he is one year senior to me. By the way, I am typing this on his computer!!! . His father is a doctor and is the Head, Department of Anatomy in RIMS (Regional Institute of Medical Sciences), Lamphepat, Manipur. Robert has 2 elder sisters - Debidita and Tarinita. Debidita is the eldest and she has completed her Masters in Botany from NEHU (North Eastern Hill University), Shillong. Saurav His name is Saurav Biswas. We were classmates in RKMV, Purulia. He is from Farakka, West Bengal. His father's name is Mr.P.B.Biswas and he is DGM in NTPC, Talcher. His mother's name is Mrs. Mita Biswas. She is a housewife and she has done the greatest job of bringing him up .
